NON TYPE RATED PILOT

The minimum requirement for DHC-6 Twin Otter First Officer

  • 1000 TT, 500 floats

No Previous Seaplane Experience

  • Able to self-sponsored for seaplane rating and type rating

Experimental Test Pilots

The Experimental Test Pilot is responsible for planning, conduct and reporting development and certification flight test activities. They have an in-depth technical knowledge of flight test techniques and experience in aircraft certification documents and processes. Provides design input to the engineering team.

  • Commercial multi-engine with instrument rating and minimum:

    • 5,000 hours PIC total time

    • 1,000 hours turbine aircraft or helicopter time

SELF-SPONSORED PILOT APPRENTICE  PROGRAMME

The minimum requirement for the Pilot Apprentice Programme:

  • Be at least 17 to submit an application.

  • Be at least 18 to commence training.

  • Minimum height 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm), maximum height 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm)

  • Pass Seaplane Hong Kong selection process.

  • Able to self-sponsored the flight training

Selection:  - 1 November 2022

Practical Training USA: January 2023

BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENT

  • Have unrestricted right to live, study and work in Hong Kong and/or China; or

  • Meet the Hong Kong and/or China visa requirements

  • Produce a certificate of no criminal record

  • Be fluent in English (verbal and written) - ICAO Level 4

  • Class 1 Medical without restrictions 

  • Able to demonstrate that you have successfully completed secondary education

  • Part-time employment available (Minimum hours applies)
